ResumoEl estudio de los espacios verdes (EV) adquiere relevancia frente a problemas tipicos del modelo de desarrollo vigente. Se reconoce que la vegetacion ofrece beneficios ecologicos para la sociedad y como lugares de uso publico destinados a desarrollar actividades recreativas y de esparcimiento, favorecen la ocurrencia de procesos de interaccion social. Conocer las condiciones ambientales de la vegetacion y de los EV puede contribuir a su buena gestion. El trabajo aborda las condiciones ambientales del EV en un contexto de actividades educativas, de investigacion, de vinculacion y transferencia que se expresan territorialmente en el campus Tandil de la UNICEN en el ano 2017. Se propone diagnosticar las condiciones ambientales de los EV en el campus y evaluar si son adecuados para cubrir las necesidades de los usuarios y del ambiente en general. Abstract The study of green spaces (GS) acquires relevance in front of typical problems of the current development model. The vegetation offers favorable ecological benefits for society. In addition to environmental benefits, GS are a place where processes of social interaction occur through the development of recreational and leisure activities. Therefore, knowing the environmental conditions of the vegetation and the GS in general, can contribute favorably to a better management.Paper addresses the environmental conditions of the GS in a context of collage educational activities, research and linkage and transfer that is expressed territorially in the campus Tandil of UNICEN in 2017. It was proposed to diagnose the environmental conditions of the EV in the campus and assessing whether they are adequate to meet the needs of both the users and the environment in general.
