Resumo

Hayek discusses in this article what kind of knowledge should be used in Social Sciences, especially in Economics. It shows that, in the real world, the so-called "scientific knowledge" fails to coordinate economic activity and that "practical" knowledge, or the circumstances of time and space, is relevant in the decisions of economic agents.
