Schumann resonances have been examined in relation to occurrences of near earthquakes within 200 km from Kyoto city during the period February 1967 through June 1968.There were seven examples associated with the land earthquakes of magnitude more than 3.0 and three with the sea earthquakes.The resonance amplitudes and frequencies are found to be increased before the earthquakes which occurred in land but not in the sea.
