Status de conservação da Avifauna da região do Campeche, Ilha de Santa Catarina, SC.

In the last eight years were realized bird observations in the Campeche’s area, Santa Catarina Island, SC. Was registeted 59 bird species and 2 genera,in 32 families. The most common families are Tyrannidae (7 species), Fringilidae (5 species ), Thraupidae (3 species). Of the totality of the birds, we registered 45% of the species (26) reproducing in the study area. The common names of the birds in the Campeche´s area presented. The abundance of some species has decreased appreciably over the last 8 years, for example: the field flicker and the marsh birds, due modification of habitat for residencial contruction.
