Resumo

The evolution of technologies and the increase in the amount of information shared, have revolutionized the way we act and think, but also the way we create, share and store content. Given this reality, Content Management Systems (CMS) much contributed and continue to contribute and, for that matter, this study aims to analyze the acceptance of CMSs by professionals from municipalities belonging to the Comunidade Intermunicipal da Lezíria do Tejo (CIMLT), using a model adapted from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), considered the most robust in identifying the determinants of technological acceptance. Therefore, a survey was conducted, in order to draw conclusions about the acceptance of CMSs by CIMLT professionals that use it in their daily work. Allowing to identify variables such as perception of usefulness, perception of ease of use and relevance to the performance of work, essential for the acceptance of CMSs in CIMLT, with training and experience being factors that enhance this acceptance. Therefore, it is crucial to promote and implement regular training actions. We conclude that the promotion of the use of technologies such as CMSs in the public sector is essential for the integration, efficiency and effectiveness of the services provided, but above all for the responsibility and transparency in the communities, by allowing a dynamic, safe, current and direct search and usability of information and content.
