Resumo

This article presents the results obtained from the work carried out in the application of a visual auditory method that allowed strengthening the learning of the English language in tourism students.The objective proposed in this research is: to determine the influence of the visual auditory method to strengthen the teaching of English language learning in students at the School of Tourism.For the development of this work, a questionnaire prepared and validated by experts was applied as an evaluation instrument, the design of the research is quasi-experimental in which there was a population of 210 students and a sample of 54 students from the school of tourism.The results were analyzed with the application of the Student's t test in which it is demonstrated that the significance of the paired differences, at the 95% confidence interval of the difference, is less than 0,05.It is concluded that the visual auditory method strengthens in significant levels the teaching of English language in the students at the Tourism School of the National University of Tumbes.
