ResumoUtilization of Deois flavopicta eggs (Stal, 1854) (Homoptera: Cercopidae) for the preparation of the specific antiserum This research dimed to develop and test serologyonDeois flavopicta (Stal, 1854).For the preparation of the specific antiserum, rabbits were immunized by the "lyrnphonodule" injection method with antigens obtained from D. fiavopicta eggs under the foliowing conditions: newly oviposited or up to two days old eggs; diapausing eggs, older than 30 days; and eggs with cap or with a mean of 15 days.Specific serogical reactions were obtained afterthe first antigen inoculation. The antiserum for newly laid eggs (AS-R) was more sensibie than antiserum for diapausing eggs (AS-D) and this was more sensible than antiserum for eggs with cap (AS-O).
