Control c.f Neoleucinodes ele'ai,ialis (Guenée) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) with Physiological Insccticidcs in Staked l'oniato Plants AESTRACT -Two le1cl trials were conducted from 1989 lo 1990, lo evaluate ihc efficiencv of physio!ogical insecticides ou lhe toniato fruii horcr.Neoleueinodes elegantulis (Guenée).Products and rates/1 00 1 of water were: chloriluazuron 50 CE (50: 75 and 100 ml): trifluniuron 250 PM (100 and 200 g); abamectin 18 CE (100 and 200 ml); abarnectin 1$ CE + Bacilius t/ur,ingiensis (100 ml + 200 g and 200 ml + 200 g) and permethrin 500 CE (20 ml).The efficacy of the reatments was evaluatcd aI harvest by counting damaged fruits, and horer presence in 10maIo fruits.The decreasing order of cfliciency was: abamectin > permethrin > tuilumuron > chioriluazuron.The former three showed more ilian 80% of efficiency.
