Resumo

During the growing season of 1991, in Cruz Alta, Rio Grande do Sul State, an experiment was conducted to study the control of Diloboderus abderus Sturm larvae in wheat crop.Different soils tiliage systems were tested in a five years no-tillage soil management system. The tillage systems were: no-tillage with seed coating insecticida (NT+I), conventional tillage (CT), chisel plow+ harrowtillage (RT), chisel plow (CP), and no-tillage (NT).The treatments were applied at seeding time, and evaluations of the number of living larvae, plant biomass, number ofears and yield were made atO, 30, 60,90 and 140 days after seeding.Conventional tiliage (Cl') and no-tillage with thiodicarb 350 grams ofa.i. per 100kg ofseeds (NT+I) were the best systems to control D. abderus in wheat crop.
