Resumo

Population curve of Deoi' inc»npieta (Waiker, 1851) (Homoptera, Cercopidae) and the trampling factor in the humid wood forest zone of the State of Pernambuco, BrazilAlthough the pasture "spitle bug' has been the major insect problem for animal husbandry for almost two decades in Northeast Brazil, it is still necessary to undertake basic studies to develop research programnes aiming at the control of this pest in severai regions of the country.With the purpose of implanting an experiment to control Poh LnoompZ.eta,(Waiker, 1851), a dorninant species in 96% of the area stti, a population curve of nymphs under different trampiing conditions was obtained.
