ResumoDiloboderus abderus Sturm is a scarabeid found in native pastures and lawns and occasiona!lydarnagescrop roors in conservation tiliage systems.During 1990During /1991During and 1991During / 1992 growingseasons, in Cruz Alta, Rio Grande do Sul State, a work was carried out to evaluate the effects ofno-tillage (NT), chisel plow (CP) and conventional tiliage (CT) systems on D. abderus abundance and oviposition.Significant differences were found inD.abderus female numbers, gnileries and eggs and in female oviposition in relation to the sail tiliage system used.Higher values were found in the NT and CP for female numbers, gaileries and eggs and smaller in the CT.Females ofD.abderus ovipositedpreferentially in NT and CP, and local populations are adapted to explore these tillage systems as reproductive resource environnent.
