ResumoPortuguese Abstract: Serão analisadas as principais mudanças ocorridas no sistema de processo civil no Brasil, em especial a realizada com a publicação do novo Código de Processo Civil. Sob a ótica do pragmatismo jurídico, analisar-se-á se a mudança realizada no sistema jurídico com a introdução do Código de Processo Civil de 2015. Esse novo diploma jurídico, por si só, será capaz de aprimorar o rito processual, com ganho de efetividade e celeridade, ou se será a hermenêutica a ser realizada pelos juízes o que concretamente inserirá no sistema a efetividade almejada, a depender da interpretação que será realizada do texto legal.English Abstract: The major changes in civil procedure system in Brazil will be analyzed, especially made with the publication of the new Code of Civil Procedure. From the perspective of legal pragmatism, will be to examine whether the change made in the legal system with the introduction of the Civil Procedure Code of 2015. This new legal act, by itself, be able to improve the legal proceedings, with gain effectiveness and speed, or be hermeneutics to be performed by judges which specifically include in the system the desired effectiveness, depending on the interpretation to be held in the legal text.
