ResumoThe home is a place to spend time with family. A comfortable and safe environment is a must for every home. Traditional garages are mostly challenging to open as it needs substantial physical to lift the door manually. Due to rapid inconsistency manually open and close, it is also quickly collapsed. Therefore, to improve the conventional design, the project implemented an automation embedded system to provide better security and user-friendly garages. The policy applies two main parts, which are the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) scanner lock system and the automated door system. The RFID scanner lock provides security as the garage door will only open when the correct MIFARE card or keychain tag placed on the scanner. Motor to lift the gate can rotate 90°. The project uses the NUC140VE3CN Nuvoton Board for interfacing the systems by using SPI and C programming language.
