ResumoNo presente artigo, reproduz-se o resultado de pesquisa concluida em nivel de mestrado academico, cujo objetivo central foi analisar o Curso de Extensao em Tecnologia em Gestao de Organizacoes e Movimentos Populares de Bases do Instituto de Fe e Politica de Caritas do municipio de Amargosa-BA. Relaciona-se a atuacao dos egressos com a formacao recebida no curso, identificando suas contribuicoes para a acao em suas areas de atuacao. Metodologicamente, realizou-se um estudo de caso com abordagens exploratoria e qualitativa e a coleta dos dados com os egressos deu-se por meio de entrevista semiestruturada. As discussoes teoricas foram fundamentadas sobretudo em Guerrieri (1994), Freire (2016), Hurtado (1992), Gutierrez (1988), Gohn (2012), Preiswerk (1997), Kosik (1976). A pesquisa de campo revelou que os saberes adquiridos no Curso de Fe e Politica dao suporte teorico-pratico para uma atuacao critica dos sujeitos em suas comunidades. No entanto, os sujeitos afirmaram que a experiencia pratica nos movimentos sociais ainda e o alicerce de suas orientacoes. Palavras-chave: Instituto de Fe e Politica de Caritas. Teoria e Pratica. Abstract The present article is the result of a research completed at the academic master's level, whose central goal was to analyze the Extension Course in Technology in Management of Popular Organizations and Grassroots Movements at the Institute of Faith and Politics the Caritas of the municipality of Amargosa city, state BA. We seek to relate the performance of the graduate with the training received in the course, identifying their contributions to the action of graduates in their areas of expertise. Methodologically, we carried out a case study with an exploratory and qualitative approach and the data collection with the graduates took place through the semi-structured interview. For theoretical discussions we rely mainly on Guerrieri (1994), Freire (2016), Hurtado (1992), Gutierrez (1988), Gohn (2012), Preiswerk (1997), Kosik (1976). The field research revealed that the knowledge acquired in the Faith and Politics Course provides theoretical and practical support for a critical performance of the subjects in their communities. Even though, the subjects stated that practical experience in social movements is still the foundation of their orientations. Keywords: Institute of Faith and Politics the Caritas.
