The socio-educational system for teenagers as a measure of deprivation of liberty is currently a challenge for the performance of the interdisciplinary work team, since the State, as a manager of the interests of the dominant classes, has not prioritized public policies that guarantee full protection. The study aims to understand the interdisciplinary work and its impacts in teenagers in compliance with the deprivation of liberty measure and is based on critical theoretical themes of the theme. It started from an exploratory bibliographic and documentary research at the CASA Foundation. It addressed historical, social, economic, political and cultural aspects of the measure studied and of social workers. It was found that the team's social work with the teenager has experienced the difficulty of working in a network, bureaucratic service, low expectations of success and a job situated in a criminalizing society.
