ResumoAutologous bone pegs taken from the ipsilateral tibial metaphysis were used in the arthroscopic fixation of unilateral osteochondritis dissecans of the knee of 11 patients; five of them were female and six male. Age varied from 11 to 20 years (mean age 16 years). Follow-up varied from 15 to 108 months (mean follow-up 48 months). Based on Hughston’s et al. (1984) modified criteria, results were satisfactory in 90% of the cases and unsatisfactory in 10% of the cases. Arthroscopic fixation of the osteochondritis dissecans of the knee with autologous bone pegs is technically simple and nonaggressive and provides satisfactory results in most cases
