Arqui-textura dos espaços: um diálogo entre Bachelard e Coutinho

ResumoThis paper aims to make an approchement between the French philosopher Gaston Bachelard and the Brazilian philosopher Evaldo Coutinho, througt their relationship with architecture on their philosophical perspectives. Although Coutinho considers himself a Bergsonian and Bachelard an anti-Bergsonian, when investigating the spatial perspectives of architecture, we realize that there are points of continuity in both philosophical approach, especially regarding the concept of duration and emptiness. In this post-Bergsonian revaluation of space, which is otherwise a postmodern trait, is a common Bachelard and Evaldo theme and unfolds here in the matter of architecture.
