HOST: Musa spp. DISEASE: Tar spot of banana (black cross disease). GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION: Australia, Fiji, New Caledonia, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu. TRANSMISSION: By air-borne and water-borne ascospores.
