ResumoThe theory of the anisotropic Heisenberg antiferromagnet is developed in the nonlinear spin-wave approximation. It is shown that the thermodynamic quantities of interest depend on two renormalization parameters. These parameters can be calculated analytically over the entire temperature range of interest. It appears that nonlinear spin-wave theory does not give a good estimate of the transition temperature as the anisotropy increases.
