ResumoThis is a retrospective study to help the students of management understand and observe the training of workmen in a manufacturing plant. The company under study is one of the leading manufacturers of precision automobile components, investment casting, sand casting, firefighting equipment and dry chemical powder in India. Products are being sold to several original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) including M/s Ashok Leyland, Honda Motors, Yamaha, Bajaj Auto Ltd., defence vehicles factory, industrial pump and valves, turbine blades, power plants boilers, engineering and automation, Maruti Udhyog, HMT, Eicher, Kirloskar Oil Engine to name a few. The company has been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001: 2015, EMS 14,001:2015 and IATF 16,949: 2016 Certified Company. The company has technical collaboration with various foreign ventures for pistons, rings, engine valves, etc., in countries like Japan, Germany and Taiwan.
