Resumo

This brief article on Lukács' thought seeks to clarify some of the changes made by the author when discussing ontology, a category that has a long philosophical history.From Lukács's point of view, it is no longer a question of looking for the invariants of a historical process (as a certain philosophical tradition sought), but rather of showing how even configurations endowed with relative stability are transformed over time, through human activity.
