ResumoIn the novel Terra sonâmbula, one of the most important works of 20 th century African literature, the writer Mia Couto presents the post-colonial process in Mozambique with their various cultures, traditions and places.The literary plot has two stories in a sigle novel, the story of old Tuahir and young Muidinga and the story of Kindzu recorded in notebooks.The scenario of the narrative is that of a territory devastated by an external war, against Portuguese colonization from 1965 to 1975.The present article intends to present some spaces and characters that transit through this territory of war, with their social roles within the fabulous narrative.
