Resumo

Monodelphis kunsi Pine, 1975 is a rare and poorly studied species of terrestrial marsupial. In this paper, we describe a new record of Monodelphis kunsi for Caetetus Ecological Station (EECa), located in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. On February 11, 2019, during the check of pitfall traps (using 60 l buckets), an individual of Monodelphis kunsi was captured.Although our record was not the first for the state of São Paulo, it is the first for EECa, an area which is one of the last remnants of native forest of the midwestern region of São Paulo.
