Resumo

Considerable effort has been observed in recent years in order to expand the capacity of laboratories with a view to overcoming technical barriers and providing reports, reports and opinions with metrological reliability. In this context, the implementation of quality management system based on standard ISO / IEC 17025 is indispensable, as in the case of providers laboratories of specialized technical services and research at the National Institute of Technology (INT) as the Corrosion Laboratory and Protection (LACOR), at the time it expands its scope of accreditation in the field of biofuels. It was developed with funds from SIBRATEC Program, a management model of the relining project adopted by LACOR the Biofuels Industry. For such a diagnosis was made, identified bottlenecks and an elaborate action plan. Action plan that had as its backdrop the foundations established in the strategic planning of INT, as well as environmental factors, structural and organizational processes peculiar to a federal public agency. This paper aims to demonstrate the main difficulties encountered, the solutions adopted, the results obtained, the main lessons learned and challenges ahead for maintenance and continuous improvement of the implemented management system.
