Atendimento Educacional Especializado na Educação Infantil: estudo de caso múltiplo na Encosta da Serra/RS

ResumoThe study sought to identify how Specialized Educational Assistance (AEE) in Early Childhood Education is operationalized in four small cities in the State of Rio Grande do Sul: Lindolfo Collor, Morro Reuter, Presidente Lucena and Santa Maria do Herval. A multiple case study was carried out, based on semi-structured interviews with an education manager in each context researched. The results indicate that only one of the municipalities implemented the AEE, however, this support service partially follows the guidance of the current educational policy, which provides for the monitoring of the AEE professional in the classroom, at recreation, in the cafeteria or in others.
