ResumoThe presence of gastrointestinal parasites is reported in psittacines rescued from illegaltrafficking and housed in the Biological Station La Esmeralda de Santa Fe, Argentina, in 2019. Species ofthe genera Amazona sp., Ara sp., Aratinga sp., Forpus sp. were sampled, as well as macaw hybrids, bycombined flotation and sedimentation techniques. Found: eggs of Capillaria sp., Trichostrongylus sp.,Ascaridia sp., Strongyloides sp., Raelletina sp., and oocysts of Eimeria sp. and Isospora sp. Theparasitological analysis in these species constitutes an important tool for the evaluation of the sanitaryconditions of the environment.
