La odontologia es una de las disciplinas con mas alto riesgo de contagios, esta pandemia ha creado obstaculos en la ensenanza de las areas clinicas que generan la necesidad de buscar alternativas pedagogicas virtuales y una denticion sana y funcional es importante en todas las fases de la vida al permitir funciones esenciales humanas tales como el habla, la sonrisa, la socializacion o el comer. La mayoria de los estudios sobre covid-19 se han concentrado en las medidas preventivas de contagio en la consulta. Las profesiones de la salud y la vida en general han sido afectadas de forma significativa en todo lugar del mundo. La odontologia ha pasado de una etapa de gran desarrollo clinico a una etapa donde el manejo de barrera de proteccion, el control de tratamientos y el tiempo asignado a los pacientes, se han ido innovando, cambiando la forma de realizar la profesion y la ensenanza, no favoreciendo el aprendizaje de los aspectos clinicos inherentes a la carrera, por las dificultades que afrontan las escuelas de odontologia al implementar la educacion a distancia. El presente trabajo se enfoca en analizar y determinar que se ha hecho para cambiar la educacion dental durante la covid-19, mediante el uso y analisis del metodo General de Solucion de Problemas y el metodo de los mapas conceptuales. ABSTRACT Dentistry is one of the disciplines with the highest risk of contagion, this pandemic has created obstacles in the teaching of clinical areas that generate the need to look for virtual pedagogical alternatives and a healthy and functional dentition is important in all phases of life by enabling essential human functions such as speaking, smiling, socializing, or eating. Most of the studies on COVID-19 have focused on preventive measures for contagion in the office. The health professions and life in general have been significantly affected all over the world. Dentistry has gone from a stage of great clinical development to a stage where the management of the protection barrier, the control of treatments and the time allotted to patients have been innovated, changing the way of carrying out the profession and teaching, not favoring the learning of the clinical aspects inherent to the career, due to the difficulties faced by dental schools when implementing distance education. This work focuses on analyzing and determining what has been done to change dental education during covid-19, through the use and analysis of the General Problem Solving method and the concept maps method.
