ResumoThe article presents the investigation made on three social groups of Mexican children regarding their writing. The results of the letters’ analyses show the existence of at least three assumptions of the gender letter related to three communication contexts of the writers. From the confirmation of these differences, which are used in the writing, the author criticizes Mexican national educational plan, both the official homogeneous model and the intercultural education. The work finishes with a suggestion of a teaching policy for writing and language instruments
