Historical Studies of Medieval Iberia

Throughout this article we intend to expand the knowledge that exists about the watermarks that we can find in paper. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the realization of a global inventory of the watermarks used by the different Spanish paper manufacturers. We will focus on the study of the watermarks found in the documents of the Municipal Archive of Miranda de Ebro (Burgos) and that belong to the paper produced by the factory which existed during the first half of the XIX century in this town.
