This article aims at reconstituting the main measures adopted by Bishop Frei Jose da Santissima Trindade in reference to the Seminar of Mariana, interpreting how these orientations and practices reverberated in the educational process promoted during the period of his episcopate, and show how the Seminar, as an institution of training project of Dom Jose in the Diocese of Mariana.
