Psychological capabilities affecting agricultural students' entrepreneurship level: a comparative study.

ResumoUnemployment for young men and women r emains at high l evels around the w orld. One of the so lutions to this p roblem is en trepreneurship. The purpose of this study was to assess an d compare agricultural students' psychological capabilities affecting ent repreneurship l evel. A survey was conducted among 250 students in Tehr an U niversity. To collect data, a s tructured que stionnaire w as used. The study found that risk taking capability of female students ( at B.Sc and M.Sc levels) was higher t han male students (this is inconsistent with previous studies) but male students' creativity capability (M.Sc students) and achievement motivation capability (PhD students) were higher than those of female counterparts. Also there were significant differences between students who had entrepreneurship experience and students who had not su ch experience on all of th e aforementioned psychological ca pabilities level ex cept cre ativity capability.
