ResumoAbstract Most of the renin in liquor amnii and plasma exists in an inactive form which can be activated by acidification to pH 3.3. In liquor collected by paracentesis at 34 to 37 weeks' gestation, 83 per cent of renin was inactive (n = 37). This proportion was unrelated to the total amount present.
