ResumoThis work describes the performance improvement achieved in an engine that will be used in the Formula SAE competition.The engine was originally fueled with gasoline, and t increase in power and torque was achieved by using a turbocharger and replacing gasoline with ethanol.This was accomplished while observing a restriction requires the intake air to pass through a 19 mm diameter throat, intake air.These modifications were made on a 320 cc Yamaha engine, which was later recalibrated to better take advantage of the changes.Test results performed on a chassis dynamometer show that the power gains reached 69% at
