This article discusses how the relationship between large landowners and those who lived on these properties changed, observing how the values ​​of the morada were resignified by residents during the mobilization of the Ligas Camponesas in Paraíba to determine traces of continuity and discontinuity between symbols, the repertoire of the movement, and the morality of these actors. We analyze this process from the relationship between morality and revolt, focusing on the question of how the foreiros, who were most responsible for disseminating the moral rules of the morada, were mobilized the most in the Ligas.
