Die Arrays können mit Fluoreszenzspektroskopie und Massenspektrometrie untersucht werden. Zu den möglichen Anwendungen gehören die Zuordnung von Enzymspezifitäten, der Nachweis von Glykoformen und die Identifikation von Lektinen.
