Resumo

Thanatopsis means a view of death. It is derived from the Greek words thanatos (death) and opsis (view). The title of my poem refers to the classic poem by William Cullen Bryant, also titled “Thanatopsis.”1 Bryant wrote his poem in 1811, when he was 17 years old.
