ResumoThe face is a very rare anatomical location for dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans. In our case the tumor rapidly progressed within four months from the occurrence of any skin changes and infiltrated the striated muscles. The biopsy diagnosis was neurofibroma, but the microscopic findings of the excised tumor were typical for DFSP.
