Real-time simulation and control systems

As a result of negotiations between Smiths Aviation Division and Sud Aviation , the French company has placed an order for simplex and multiplex versions of the Smiths automatic landing system. Two Caravelles will be equipped experimentally with these systems so that a complete evaluation can be carried out with the ultimate object of obtaining certification for civil airline use.
