ResumoThe present requirement of QR-based payment in a pandemic situation is one of the most effective and comprehensive payment methods. Smartphone development in day today life and link with QR as the user-friendly process. The current study observed that significant features affecting the QR code-based payment system adaption by the customers, based on the banking customers in Badulla district. In this research data was collected by random sampling methods in a select sample of 400 banking customers able to cover the main cities of the Badulla district, including Badulla, Bandaraeela , Welimada. Mahiyanganaya and covered geographically are in the Badulla District. Based on collected information we have identified that relevant factors which are significantly determinate which influence QR base payment system adoptions. As the analysis tool, Microsoft Excel has been used. According to the analysis identified six significant factors for the adoption of QR-based payment systems by the customer. The final recommendation of the research enhances the trust level of customers who have done QR payment transaction and improve the literacy level of QR payment system with the intervention of central bank of Sri Lanka.
