Resumo•Patient reported outcomes measurements (PROMs) are an essential component of comprehensive, patient centered care. •Practical considerations and challenges to collecting PROMs in routine gynecologic oncology practice are discussed. •Pragmatic, disease-specific recommendations for the use of PROMs are provided for women with gynecologic malignancies.
