ResumoVocal technique is learned in a different way from other musical instruments, as the instrument in question is the human body itself.This research analyses the use of image and metaphor as support in the learning process.The aim is to establish that the creation and use of certain metaphors and visual materials help teachers and students during the singing teaching-learning process.Open interviews are conducted with 30 voice students with varied voice classification and professional-grade training in conservatories.The results show that visual images support verbal explanations and hone the ideas offered by metaphors.The mental representations created through information transmitted by the teacher positively affect communication in the voice classroom and enhance concentration.
