Resumo

The physical characters of cashmeres by subjective and objective methods are reviewed and co-ordinated, particularly the percentages of down in goat fleeces, which heretofore have not received a considerable amount of attention. The commercial types of cashmere of the world market are described and analysed from both commercial samples and from individual goat fleeces.
