ResumoAbstract A thick series of Caradocian volcanics is described. The volcanics are basic‐intermediate and it is own that they have a number of characteristics which are peculiar to emplacement in a subaqueous environment. A new interpretation of the stratigraphy results from a consideration of the folding of the succession.
