Resumo

Researchers at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands, working in close collaboration with Hyundai Motor and other commercial partners, have engineered and installed a socket on a Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell car, that allows the SUV to serve as an electric power outlet. This is the first time that a fuel cell electric vehicle has been used as a mobile generator in Europe, although Honda's new Clarity Fuel Cell car is available with a portable external power output device [see page 2].
