The authors feel that using videos to teach leadership skills to business students is viable and accomplishes more learning than only learning from books. The film “Apollo 13” contains many management lessons about when it is appropriate to let others make decisions. “West Side Story” was also a collaborative project that required men with “huge egos” to collaborate. Miles Davis is said to have deftly lead his musicians like Herbie Hancock to create three different styles of jazz.FiguresReferencesRelatedDetails Vol. 6, No. 3 Permissions Metrics in the past 12 months History Published online 30 November 2017 Published in print 1 September 2007 Information© Academy of Management Learning & EducationKeywordsTEACHING aids & devicesLEADERSHIP -- Study & teachingAUDIOVISUAL educationEXECUTIVES -- EducationMOTION pictures in educationDownload PDF
