Lorch (jdlorch@math.bsu.edu) grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado and did his undergraduate work in mathematics at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He received his MS and Ph.D from Oklahoma State University. Currently, he is an assistant professor of mathematics at Ball State University. He enjoys spending time with his wife Crystal, children Carolyn and Rob, and two cats Paisley and Bengal. In addition to mathematics, he likes history, geography, classic novels, rock n'roll, and Monday night football. Go Broncos!
