Resumo

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory dermatosis, rarely affecting mucous membranes. The following article reviews this disease entity in general, and a case involving the oral cavity is reported. The microscopic features are pathognomonic and meet all of the necessary histologic criteria, including the presence of microabscesses.
