Löchrige Hüllen: Kern-Satelliten-Nanokompositkatalysatoren mit mesoporösen Silicaschutzschichten wurden durch einfache Sol-Gel- und Ätzprozesse erhalten. Weil superparamagnetische Komponenten enthalten sind, stellen diese Kompositstrukturen ideale wiederverwendbare Katalysatoren dar (siehe Umsatz U bei der Reduktion von 4-Nitrophenol).
