ResumoPredominant brainstem or cerebellar edema is rare in hypertensive encephalopathy and usually affects patients with secondary hypertension. Despite the severity of the radiologic findings, clinical features of brainstem involvement are uncommon. The authors report the clinical and radiologic features of two patients.
