ResumoUnter Beobachtung: Die Toleranz von Zellen für den Einbau unterschiedlicher nichtnatürlicher D-Aminosäuren wird genutzt, um Peptidoglycan (PG) in verschiedenen Bakterien zu markieren. Die nichttoxischen D-Aminosäuren markieren bevorzugt die Orte aktiver PG-Synthese und ermöglichen so die zeitliche und räumliche Beobachtung der Zellwand-Dynamik in Bakterien.
